our Cybercafe
CybercafeCybercafeAlternatively referred to as an Internet cafe, PC bangs, or Net cafe, a cybercafé is a place where computer users can use a computer, either their own or one provided by the cybercafe, to access the Internet, play games, create documents and spreadsheets, chat with friends and family using voice and video, as well as a number of other computer-related tasks. Typically, the computer and Internet access is provided for an hourly or daily fee.

The cybercafe first came into existence in July 1991 in San Francisco, when Wayne Gregori started up the SFnet Coffeehouse Network. He built and set up 25 coin operated computer stations in multiple coffeehouses in San Francisco. The Binary Cafe was the first cybercafe in Canada, started up in June 1994. Today, there are thousands of cybercafes all over the world, providing the computer and Internet access that people need to go about their daily lives.
